Do I need a Replacement Panel?

  • The electrical panel or box, also called a circuit breaker or fuse box is meant to interrupt electricity upon detection of a fault condition, such as a short circuit, or ground fault. The panel is probably the most important safety device in your home.   • Do you live in an older home? As your home ages, its various systems experience wear and tear, including your electrical panel. If your home is more than 30 years old you may need a new panel.
  • If You notice something strange about your service panel: Electrical panels are supposed to operate silently. If yours hums, buzzes, sparks, hisses, or becomes discolored, schedule an appointment immediately.
  • You have a Federal Pacific or Zinsco Electrical Panel

What is the process of replacing my Panel?

The process of replacing your electrical panel begins with getting a permit from the HOA and then obtaining a permit from the township where your are living. After it has been replaced it will need an inspection by the city inspector. We handle all the paperwork so you don't have to do anything.
